DCF & OTHER RESOURCES
Our Florida Funds / DCF
DCF is able to assist with Our Florida who is an agency that can assist renters with rental and utility services, if they are eligible for it. DCF is the parent organization of Our Florida. Many constituents who were at the Jan 4 meeting had questions about Our Florida and their applications for this program, and why their applications may have been denied.
Student Food Stamps / DCF
DCF can assist with getting students food stamps for families that qualify, while also determining eligibility for those who want to enroll into Medicaid.
Temporary Assistance for Families / DCF
DCF has a temporary assistance for needy families that some families attending may be eligible for.
Call the Call Center: (850) 300-4323 number. This is the best way for constituents to speak to staff. The staff recommends individuals call early in the morning (which DCF stated they believe starts at 7am).
